Our client, a holding company in MN, is looking for a Director of Accounting to assist them for the upcoming 3-4 months. The ideal candidate has previous experience in the Director of Accounting position and will be able to start as soon as possible.

This is a full-time, contract role.

This role will be entirely REMOTE.

Responsibilities (included, but not limited to):

• Oversee general accounting and financial reports including A/P, A/R, credit, and month-end close
• Assist with managing day to day cash process (i.e. borrowing requests), reconciliation, and balance sheets
• Assist with reporting/financial modeling
• Ensure that all accounting policies and procedures are implemented

Qualifications (included, but not limited to):

• Candidates MUST have 5+ years of accounting experience
• Candidates MUST have strong GAAP knowledge
• Candidates MUST have prior management experience
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $70.00 – $80.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
