Our non-profit client in Eden Prairie, MN is looking for an Accountant to join their team for the next 10+ months on a long term project. The ideal candidate has knowledge in health care accounting.

This role will primarily be performed ON-SITE, with an option to work from home once a week.

This is a full-time, contract role.

Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

– Producing financial statements for multiple clients

– Handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

– Reconciling accounts and preparing audit work on an annual basis

– Supporting other departments regarding accounting and financial issues

– Performing duties by complying with accounting policies and regulations

Qualifications:

– At least 4 years of professional accounting experience, specifically with financial reporting

– Proficiency in accounting software such as Excel and Great Plains

– Ability to collaborate and work with others, as well as both written and verbal communication
