Truely Reiable Service Hiring for Roadway Engineer at Raleigh-Durham, NC Full Time

We are hiring a Roadway Engineer to advance our surface transportation operations in North Carolina. To excel you should have an appetite for working on transportation improvement projects including interstate/interchanges, roadway widening, and bridge replacements. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and possess the communication skills necessary to coordinate with staff and other design disciplines, you could be the right fit for this position.

Essential Functions:

• Collecting and analyzing project data
• Leading or assisting in the design and development of roadway plans, specifications, design calculations, and technical documents
• Using Microsoft Excel to calculate quantities and develop cost estimates
• Producing a complete plan set using Bentley CADD software
• Working with other design disciplines

Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in North Carolina
• 5 or more years of roadway design experience
• NCDOT roadway experience preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. The position sometimes requires long hour

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
