True Fitness Technology Hiring for CAD Designer – Product Development at O’Fallon, MO, USA Full Time

This position is with the Product Development Team at True Fitness. The individual will focus on design and drafting support of new and current Strength and Cardio related products.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Create and modify detailed 3D / 2D models and drawings in SolidWorks
• Provide Product Development Engineers with design and drafting support
• Review drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from Product Development Engineers to ensure that they conform to our standards like acceptable tolerances and dimensions
• Coordinate with product development engineers, product support specialists, marketing and purchasing in development of drawings and documentation
• Prepare bills of material for specific designs as they are developed and detailed
• Document CAD drawing life cycle through its development, sign-off, final review, and release
• Create documentation which includes Assembly Guides, Owner’s Manuals, Service Drawings, Exploded Views, and EC Design
• Meet production deadlines for CAD tasks

Qualifications :

• Two-Year Drafting Degree or 3+ years related experience
• 3+ years in consumer products preferred
• 2+ years in fitness equipment preferred
• Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, team player and self-motivated
• Email, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Teams
• Technical skills
• Proficient in 3D CAD Software, SolidWorks preferred
• Experience in machine design and linkage design
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to understand and interpret engineering documents and drawings like GD&T and welding symbols

This role is based on O’Fallon, MO and requires time in the office. Relocation assistance is not provided.
