Position Title: Talent Acquisition Generalist

Reports To: Talent Acquisition Manager

Job summary: The Talent Acquisition Generalist is responsible for handling the daily administrative and HR duties of the TA Department. He/she assists the TA manager with recruitment, record maintenance, confirming interviews, scheduling interviews and participating in new hire orientation. The TA Generalist is the liaison between employees and candidates ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions regarding candidates and new hires

Responsibilities include:

• Create processes and trackers in place for recruiting, interviews, follow-ups, background checks, rejected candidates
• Manage the new hire onboarding tracker from initial interview process through onboarding for new employees
• Perform background check process for candidates; check previous employment, reference verifications, education and background and communicate the results to the TA Manager
• Phone screen candidates; follow up on interviews with candidates and hiring managers and track information on Excel
• Do outreach for potential candidates on Indeed, Linkedin, HubSpot and social media platforms; perform outreach on career websites for potential candidates (Monster, Career Builder, Indeed)
• Send out rejection letters
• Be the liaison between internal departments and candidates to ensure most updated information is being presented to all parties
• Meet with all new hires on their first day and participate in the new hire orientation by taking ID pictures, collecting IDs for e-verify processing and showing new hires around the different offices
• Ensure new hires have onboarding training schedules prepared for their first week
• Maintain all candidate and employee files in a paperless software
• Assist the TA manager with developing PowerPoint presentations for staff development
• Scan and organize personnel documents electronically while following company policies and maintaining employee confidentiality
• Take on special projects that align with the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition departments

Job requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent/ some college is preferred
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel, Google mail
• Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized
• Ability to multitask and acclimatize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of file management, applicant tracking, minutes managing and other administrative duties
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills
• Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
