We’re hiring a Talent Acquisition Leader to join our team!

The Tropicana Brand Group Talent Acquisition Leader is responsible for developing and leading a global professional talent acquisition strategy, inclusive of the management of full life cycle recruiting at Tropicana. The TA Leader will manage the overall TA function at Tropicana and lead teams who work with both internal and external talent pools, including a recruiting process outsourcing agency (RPO), to source candidates.

The TA Leader serves in a strategic advisory capacity and will work on open positions, including those filled by internal candidate slates. He/She must partner and provide talent advisor influence to hiring managers, HR business partners, and functional leadership. He/She will manage a complex requisition load ensuring client service, especially status communications/updates. The TA Leader must have a strong foundation in the development of core sourcing processes for identifying and hiring external talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Tropicana Talent Acquisition function and provide strategic talent acquisition support to HR and leadership team.
• Develop, present and align with internal stakeholders on a talent acquisition charter including strategy aimed at meeting the needs of the business in the current state of the external marketplace. Cascade TA messaging globally within the agreed timeframe and budget.
• Develop the Tropicana Talent Acquisition team into a stand-alone TA function by 2023 to successfully exit current TA processes tied to a transitional service agreement.
• Direct the Tropicana Talent Acquisition team and RPO team to provide best-in-class Staffing support to respective functional client team(s) (including supply chain, sales, marketing R&D, finance, etc.), with a goal of filling open roles with qualified internal or external talent while achieving target metrics such as Time to Accept (TTA), Time-to-Find/Hire, Hiring Manager Satisfaction scores (HMSS) and system accuracy, among others.
• Management of Talent Acquisition team members and vendors by executing the following recruitment life cycle:
  • Develop Sourcing Strategy with strong emphasis on leveraging creative tools to identify passive talent (i.e. Linked In, employee referrals, Social media, etc.) for both current and pipeline needs.
  • Work closely with the recruiters to ensure effective screening and evaluation of candidates, and timely presentation of the qualified candidate slate to hiring managers.
  • Develop and monitor TA metrics (time to hire, etc.)
  • Recommend and partner with Compensation to present compelling offers grounded in Tropicana’s compensation philosophy and market insights.
  • Coordinate closely with operations and RPO recruiters to ensure seamless and timely candidate courtship.
  • Manage candidate, hiring manager, and vendor feedback with the goal to achieve a seamless hiring experience. Provide coaching and process improvement as necessary.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate university degree; graduate degree (MS/MA/MBA) preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience, including high-volume, full-life-cycle Talent Acquisition/Staffing experience for professional-level hires within a corporate setting. Experience with CPG or global, matrixed manufacturing organization is a plus. Experience developing or growing a Talent Acquisition team is preferred.
• Experience with Union, Non-Union, salaried, hourly, and executive-level TA processes.
• Overall demonstration of advisory capabilities, supported by a solid understanding of the business, external labor market, competitive landscape, and data analytics. Previous agency or search firm experience is also relevant and will be considered.
• Prior experience implementing Talent Acquisition process improvements and leading projects.
• Advanced experience and proficiency in ATS utilization, LinkedIn Recruiter Seat/License and other social Media outlets, including diversified sourcing strategies.
• Advanced utilization of effective TA tools for the creation of targeted and proactive pipelines.
• High level of professional maturity and track record of developing strong client partnerships.
• Personable, high energy individual that is passionate about recruitment and enjoys working in a fast paced, innovative, dynamic organization. Must also be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and is able to work undefined situations.
• Supervisory experience including performance management, training, and development.
