Come join leader in fire life safety and security in the Southern California region. We are looking for a bright individual to help develop their skills in Talent Acquisition! This is a part-time, fully remote opportunity .

Apply today and join our team! You will work closely with the Senior Recruiter and help with sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring of employees.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria
• Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
• Compile lists of most-suitable candidates by assessing their resumes, portfolios, and references
• Update company CRM by uploading all materials related to recruitment, including resumes, candidate information, interview notes and related paperwork
• Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
• Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
• Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
• Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews
• Collaborates with the hiring manager and / or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending start dates, and other pertinent details.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
• 1+ years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role
• Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
• Proficiency with social media, resume databases, and professional networks
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to make repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and / or fingers, daily.
• Stand or sit for long periods (4+ hours), daily
