About the role
As part of the Onboard Software team and part of the wider engineering division you will be responsible for planning, executing and continuously improving the software quality assurance programs. This role requires you to have broad experience working in QA for a complex Linux software deployment environment that provides a wide range of software functionality:

• Developing, documenting and executing approaches and procedures for acceptance, functional and regression testing
• Plan, prioritize and execute quality assurance tasks
• Conduct software and system integration tests
• Performing data analysis
• Creating test scripts and report templates, evaluating and improving test tools
• Design, improve and maintaining test lab equipment and environments
• Take ownership of the QA tasks within the Onboard software team, coach others and update regularly
• Optimizing defect management tools and processes (in Jira)
• Provide data and vision to support management with growth and investment activities

The role will require you to primarily work onsite in our world-class testing facilities within our Engineering headquarters. WFH can be supported for tasks that do not require test equipment access.

About you
This role requires an experienced team player who has demonstrated experience in hardware integration testing across all areas of the Testing Lifecycle, has the ability to understand complex products and experience in deriving test plans for software validation.

• University degree BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree
• ISTQB Foundation/Analyst Certificate in Software Testing (preferred)
• Proven experience in Testing (Functional, Regression)
• Experience in automated testing and Python scripting and/or application development for Linux will be highly regarded
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and DevOps environments with the ability to collaborate and work in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Analytical thinker with excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Exposure to software configuration management systems and/or source code version control systems, Git (Github/BitBucket/etc)
