Senior Design Manager – Civil Engineering – Birmingham

We are currently looking for an experienced civil engineering senior design manager to join our team. 

The company specializes in large-scale civil engineering projects in the areas of Roads and Rail The senior design manager will liaise between the designers and the site teams to look at and come up with solutions and buildability. 

You will ideally be degree qualified in civil engineering and ideally, have charter ship status as the role will entail being able to question design and suggest solutions and cost savings as well as value engineering. The role may be suitable for someone who is currently doing a similar position or who wishes to transfer from site to a more technical role but understands the design procedure.
