Contracts Manager- Ground Works

We are recruiting for a Contracts Manager to manage a £10million portfolio of ground works and earthworks. The projects will encompass a number aspects of civil engineering including earthworks. RC works and Steelworks. The Contracts Manager will report to the Managing Director and will be have overall responsibility for these projects.

The role of Contracts Manager is to manage the individual Site Managers and to give them all the support they need to deliver their projects on time and with budget an program. They must understand the project set-up, the roles played by different members of the team and details of the site and construction.

 The Contracts Manager will allocate tasks to Site Managers and supervise the task completion. They will also have interface with head office functions to include Commercial, Estimating and finance.
