Triple Random Inc is Looking for Dispatcher for heavy haul Full Time

We are looking for an individual who is organized and adaptable that can effectively dispatch equipment safely to and from sites. The ideal candidate is a heavy haul driver who wants to move into the office. You must know which loads require which type of trailer. You must know how to transport oversized loads. How many trucks, trailers and pilot cars are required for heavy oversized loads. You must be personable and able to deal with many different personalities.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Able to work on all job sites
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Valid class 5 driver’s license with own transportation
• Class 1 license is considered an asset

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull permits – Oversized Loads, trip permits, etc.
• Co-ordinating heavy equipment moves and all support equipment
• Data Entry
• Tracking and logging of equipment and material moves
• Create dispatch schedules daily for the next day(s) and be able to change them on short notice
• Maintain radio communication with the drivers
• Assist with other duties as required

• Must be dependable and flexible with hours of work
• Ability to communicate effectively

• Knowledge of heavy equipment and weights
• Knowledge of Federal and Provincial Commercial Carrier Laws
• Able to train drivers on all driving requirements, load securement, etc.
• ELD knowledge
• thorough knowledge of weights and dimensions for loads
• Understand Trucking Audits
• Work with and maintain strong driving team

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
