Trinity Services Inc. is looking for a special education teacher for the high school and vocational classrooms. Trinity is a non-public therapeutic school that serves students with developmental and intellectual disabilities. It is the school’s purpose to develop the children’s potential so that they may be able to function as independently as possible in the community.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing the IEP goals and objectives for approximately 4-6 students, planning and delivering instruction based on the student’s IEP goals, mentoring paraprofessionals in the classroom, being a part of the clinical team, which may include an OT, SLP, and/or BCBA, demonstrating effective classroom management based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, providing community based instruction, and keeping updated and accurate reports and data. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $42,000.00 per year

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
