Trinity College Hiring for 2022 Student Wellbeing Youth Worker (four positions) Job at Australia Full Time

Trinity College trialed a Student Wellbeing Youth Worker role in 2021 to support students at risk in their social and emotional wellbeing and enhance engagement with student learning. This was very successful and for 2022 we have four roles available, one at each of Trinity College Blakeview, Gawler River, North and Senior. Three of the positions are in Reception to Year 10 schools and one is in a Year 11 & 12 Senior School.

The role is full time during term time plus two more weeks; with the arrangement of hours being negotiated to suit the successful candidates.

The Student Wellbeing Youth Workers will work as a part of the Wellbeing Team to support students. Duties include working with students and staff to provide support to students with identified social and emotional difficulties to provide options and interventions that will provide positive experiences for students.

The person we are seeking will have experiences and / or qualifications in Youth Work or Youth Justice, Social Work or Psychology or Child, Youth and Family Intervention. They may also have worked in student support within a school setting.
