Great opportunities are available for committed Primary Teachers to join our dedicated team. The successful applicants will have a sound knowledge of primary education and the appropriate pedagogy.

Identified positions are:

• Early Years (Reception)
• Primary R-6 non-contact Teachers (several)

The successful applicants will need to be available to start at the beginning of the 2022 school year.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Tertiary qualifications in primary teaching
• Registered to teach in South Australia or be eligible to obtain registration
• Have an understanding of and commitment to Christian education
• Have the desire and skills to participate in the school’s pastoral care programme
• An ability to contribute to the co-curricular program of the College
• Be passionate about understanding how learning occurs and teaching pedagogies suitable for students from Junior Primary through to Year 6
• Be able to respond positively to the pressures of a modern classroom
• Be able to set high standards for student learning and their own performance
• Deal effectively with the administrative detail of the position
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of and a commitment to the principles of equal opportunity and work safety

All teachers are expected to support the Christian ethos of the College. It would be hoped that the successful applicants would be able to actively contribute to the Christian life of the College.

• Year levels taught and supporting evidence of successful teaching in that specific year level.
• Teaching expertise, including subject knowledge, pedagogy and classroom and student management practices.
• Commitment to and understanding of Christian education.
• Skills and ability to contribute to the co-curricular programme.
• A current cv, including 2 referees and their current contact details.
• Any other relevant details (i.e. copy of successful lessons/unit of work and data to inform this success).
• You will be asked to answer a video question as part of the application process.
