Job Title: IT Administrator
Department: IT
Reports to: CFO

The IT Administrator is responsible for maintaining all network hardware/software, all internal application development resources, all network provisioning services, all inter-company telecommunication services, all security services and for the integrity and performance of all Internet services. Reviews new hardware/software market trends and implements as necessary to ensure network and telecommunication systems are effective and efficient, while maintaining system integrity.

Accountabilities:

– Prioritize tasks based on current company needs to ensure on-time delivery.

– Review and evaluate current and future application needs.
– Ensure maximum systems availability throughout the company.
– Troubleshoot and support existing services in a timely manner.
– Consult with vendors on a regular basis to ensure cost effective solutions are in place.
– Provide remote plants with regular on-site visits to perform preventive maintenance and ensure that all corporate standards are being practiced.
– Maintain and enforce corporate security policies.
– Maintain and enforce Internet policies.
– Control hardware/software budgets and expenditures.
– Identify and implement new technologies to enhance the long term Operational and Strategic goals of the company

– Basic training on Microsoft Office programs

Qualifications:

– A College or University relevant education.

– 5 or more years of experience in an IT position.
– Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
– Proficient knowledge of all aspects regarding computer networks.
– Effective verbal and written skills.
– Microsoft NAV experience would be an asset.

– Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
