WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
Summary

This role will effectively and efficiently manage all aspects of training and communication creation. This includes working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to set learning objectives, success criteria, ROI, write content, as well as to collect external content and graphics, internal photographs and video content for internal communications and trainings.

This person applies a creative and artistic nature in a corporate environment. This role will work as a consultant to internal customers to meet their communication and training needs. They collaborate with Home Office teams to ensure content, designs, and videos succeed and messages are on brand and properly delivered to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand the Trilogy business to know what training and content is value added to the organization.
• Utilize Trilogy brand standards, customer input, and creativity to create basic training videos, elearnings, and print materials to support business needs.
• Creation of training and communication assets
  • Interpret abstract business concepts and client briefs and turning them into creative ideas
  • Design pieces in various formats that compliment brand guidelines and support customer request
  • Communicate with clients and make alterations according to the clients’ needs
  • Introduce artistic innovation into every project, thinking of new ways to create unique designs that have meaningful impacts on the target audience
• Distribution of assets
  • Deliver high quality products on time
  • Ensure projects stay on-track in conjunction with other parties involved
  • Work with SME to create a distribution plan that makes sense for the products needed and fits the organization’s timeline
• Archiving/organizing/administrative
  • Identify best practices for asset creation and evolve daily operations as necessary
  • Stay on top of changes in tools, editing hardware, software, etc. Make recommendations about system upgrades and purchases when required
  • Ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained
• Consulting and Planning
  • Work with various functions in the organization to implement changes to existing products’ designs.
  • Influence others, leading them to understand how design choices can impact the experience of the end user
• Periodic (10%) travel including overnight stay as necessary.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of:

• Project management
• Videography hardware
• Knowledge and understanding of motion graphics
• Web technology (HTML, CSS, UI design)

Skills in:

• Instructional Design
• Design tools (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite)
• Presentation tools
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Video tools (i.e. Adobe Premiere Pro for editing, video equipment for filming)
• Systematic thinking
• Critical thinking approach to consider all components and downstream impacts of a process/decision
• Confident in decision making
• Organization with strong attention to detail.

Ability to:

• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and identify and recommend solutions to problems.
• Operate standard office equipment and use required software applications to produce correspondence, electronic communication and maintain spreadsheets and databases.

• Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, vendors, and the general public.
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
• Work independently, as well as collaboratively, within a team environment.

Qualifications:

• A. degree or higher from accredited university in training development, design, or related field

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience of similar role that includes Education/Instructional design skills
• Has worked with clients from discovery to creation to roll out and asset archiving
• Worked with various tools and software, including design, presentation, web technology, and video capture and editing
