Full Job Description
TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening on 1st shift for an International Logistics Coordinator at our Auburn Hills, MI warehouse.
Overall Purpose
Plans shipments, monitors their progress, and prepares any necessary documents, per regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Client relationship & Business development
- Works closely with team members to meet or exceed all customer requirements
- Develops and maintains positive carrier relationships
- Communicates effectively with customers, partner vendors and team members
Operations
- Execute daily shipments per company schedule, utilizing proper approved carrier
- Ensure inventory is accurate and maintained at appropriate levels and policies and procedures are enforced to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations
- Manage and maintain warehouse material handling equipment
- Demonstrates commitment to reduce the risk of workplace accidents
- Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies
Organization & management
- Ability to creating proper international paperwork (pro forma, tracking sheet, outbound manifest, etc.)
- Ability to handle issues/concerns regarding shipments at customs
- Offer solutions for timely and cost-effective shipments
- Work with warehouse team to export shipments successfully
- Promotes workplace improvements and development
Technical
- Daily tracking and tracing of shipments
Other
- Any other duties as assigned

- Proficiency in English
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent Computer skills – Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail
- Superior problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material
- Ability lift /move 50 pounds
- Must have reliable transportation
Work experience

- 1+ years of experience with international logistics and customs compliance

- High school or equivalent (college degree preferred)
