ACCA / ACA Accountancy Apprenticeship – Assistant Group Financial Accountant

Location: Hybrid – London
Salary: Up to £28,000 (DoE)

As our ACCA / ACA Accountancy Apprentice you will:

• Assist with preparing monthly accounts for the plc costs entity
• Assist with preparing monthly financial reports
• Support the wider team to produce the Annual & Interim report and IFRS accounts
• Develop strong technical accounting knowledge to assist with Share based payments and Acquisition & Disposal Accounting
• Assist with preparing statutory accounts for UK and overseas entities
• Assist with information requests relating to UK and overseas tax returns
• Assist with preparing budget & forecast financial schedules and reports
• Build strong relationships within the wider team
• Develop an understanding of SUN accounting software and supporting continuous improvement in reporting financial information
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects and responding to ad-hoc requests

• Progression towards your accountancy qualification with a commitment to becoming a qualified accountant
• Excellent numeracy and communication skills
• Strong Excel and Word skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise and adhere to timetables
• A commitment to becoming an ACCA/ACA qualified accountant
• Strong attention to detail
• A high level of personal drive and motivation
• A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to use initiative
• A positive outlook and ‘can-do’ attitude
