We’re recruiting for a Financial Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis to join our team based in Bristol. Tribal has a Global presence with both entities and/or branches held in locations such as UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Hungary, Philippines and Malaysia and we are constantly growing – there couldn’t be a more exciting time to join us!

The Role

The role of the Financial Accountant is to support the Group Financial Controller in the provision of a sound financial base, with good working capital management and the creation of a strong control environment from which to operate and safeguard our assets.

Key Aspects of the Role will include:
Monthly Management Accounts

• Reconciliation of statutory balance sheet accounts. Fixed Assets, Sales and Purchase Ledgers, GRNI, Other Debtors, Other Creditors, Bank and Payroll control accounts

• Reconciliation of all Group intercompany transactions and eliminations

• Perform month end close activities

Corporate Reporting & Global Tax

• Preparation of the global statutory requirements for smaller subsidiary accounts and information packs required for the annual tax returns

• Preparation of global sales tax returns on a monthly/quarterly basis

• Assist with collation of information to support the half year and year-end audit

Treasury

• Preparation of weekly cashflow forecasting and analysis for review

• Setting up of adhoc (non-Purchase Ledger) payments when required

• Perform the weekly posting of cash transactions and cash reports

Finance System administration/maintenance

• Processing changes to the projects, chart of accounts, financial dimensions and combinations in D365 Fin&Ops

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Financial Accountant with excellent analytical and numerical skills. You should have or be willing to work towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
