Trials Hiring for Freelancer Medical Customer Representative (US market) at Remote Full Time

We are expanding our virtual patient support team and are looking for an experienced and empathetic freelancer with experience in health sciences. Improving other people’s lives is a creed you go by!
Our goal is to help as many patients as possible and to contribute to making new medical treatments available to patients more quickly. Our customer consultants are the first contact point for patients to establish a relationship and support them in learning all there is to know about the pharmaceutical research industry.

This customer service job requires you to contact patients who are already registered to receive more information about the clinical trial. Furthermore, you will discuss pre-screening questions with them to verify whether they meet the eligibility criteria for the study.

Your tasks:

• Consulting interested patients via telephone, both inbound and outbound and using an array of software tools
• Corresponding with patients quickly via e-mail
• Pre-screening patients and providing information about the clinical trial according to our phone script
• Responding empathetically and precisely to patient queries according to our FAQ
• Forwarding patients to respective clinical trial sites
• Documenting patient contacts in our client management system reliably
• Adhering to the principles of risk management, including health- and security-related regulations

Your qualifications

• Experience as a customer representative, preferably in the medical field, including handling phone calls and customer interaction
• Experience in working from home
• Ideally, a degree as a nurse, study nurse, paramedic, sports scientist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, nutritionist or similar
• High self-motivation, commitment, and sense of responsibility
• Goal-oriented, efficient, and independent approach to work
• Empathetic, clear communication, and a passion for helping others
• Excellent American English skills (native tongue)
• Skilled in computer use and IT affinity, knowledge of salesforce is an additional benefit
• A separate, uninterruptible working environment and the willingness to work with a 27-inch monitor in one location.
• Have an internet connection with a speed of at least 25 Mbit/s download and 5 Mbit/s upload capacity
