About the role

In this newly created role, reporting to the Global Finance Delivery Lead you will be responsible for the global finance controllership and operational management for one of our divisional business units, Penfolds. As the point of contact the divisional Finance Leadership teams you will oversee the execution of accounting processes, financial reporting and control and financial audits. Working closely with our BPO provider (Accenture), you will ensure service level performance, risk management, process alignment/improvement and value creation through progressive maturity of services delivered.

• Own consolidated financial outputs for the division collating regional information to create Global insights.
• Work with Divisional Finance teams to develop and complete Monthly Reporting Packs, Quarterly Balance Sheet Reviews, IBP inputs and other Division driven financial deliverables.
• Partners with Divisional FP&A Lead to collate information and insights to support Financial Certification process, globally.
• Lead the offshore Record to Report team in completing financial accounting activities, which include GL management, overhead accounting, allocations, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Work cross functionally with Group Tax, Group Treasury, Regional Commercial Finance, Risk & Assurance, internal and external auditors to deliver against group financial requirements.

About you

We are searching for a commercially astute and influential individual who is ready for a global opportunity and can partner senior finance leaders to influence outcomes. Qualified in accounting and finance, you will bring expertise in improving finance processes and controllership and can deliver in a shared services model.

• CA/CPA qualified
• Extensive financial reporting and accounting experience
• Understanding of shared services/BPO model
• Proven experience in financial process improvement
• Superb senior relationship-building capability
• Experience working with external vendors/managing third party delivered services
