Travelodge Ottawa East is Looking for Front Desk Agent (Part-Time) Full Time

We are looking for a Part-Time Front Desk Agent to join our Team!

Shifts will vary (weekdays, evenings, weekends). Must be flexible to work other hours, if needed.

$17.60/hr during 3 month probationary period.

$19.56/hr following completion of probationary period.

Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Greeting and registering guests (assigning rooms, issuing room keys or cards) as well as taking /confirming reservations
• Contacting Housekeeping or maintenance staff if a Guest reports a problem/ Contact Housekeeping when rooms are vacated
• Collect payment for accommodations and verify credit card at check in
• Review account and charges with Guest at check out
• Arrange taxis, restaurant reservations and tours for Guests as well as answer any inquiries they may have regarding the hotel or directions/recommendations for activities
• Keep records of available rooms
• Address Guest complaints or requests
• Answer all incoming calls and direct them appropriately

Requirements:

• Experience in a hotel setting is an asset but not required
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Bilingual (French and English) considered an asset
