Travelodge Ottawa East is Looking for Front Desk Agent Full Time

Join our Team as a Front Desk Agent!

We are looking for someone to cover a leave of absence – shifts are Monday to Friday from 7am – 3pm until April 1, 2023.

After April 1, 2023, full time work will continue to be offered working different shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am).

Starting Hourly Rate $17.60

Hourly Rate following 3 Month Probationary Period $19.56

Medical benefits provided after 6 months

Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Greeting and registering guests (assigning rooms, issuing room keys or cards) as well as taking /confirming reservations
• Contacting Housekeeping or maintenance staff if a Guest reports a problem
• Contacting Housekeeping when rooms are vacated
• Collect payment for accommodations and verify credit card at check in
• Review account and charges with Guest at check out
• Arrange taxis, restaurant reservations and tours for Guests as well as answer any inquiries they may have regarding the hotel or directions/recommendations for activities
• Keep records of available rooms
• Address Guest complaints or requests
• Answer all incoming calls and direct them appropriately

Requirements:

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Experience in a hotel setting considered an asset
• Bilingual in French and English considered an asset
