Summary

The finance function have a need to surface, record and migrate all process and tasks recorded associated to the work carried out in GP, there has been some process mapped out, but this is deemed to be out of date and how accurate needs reviewing. understanding all of these tasks and the custom touch points will need to be surfaced and recorded in order to feed the requirements document that would feed into TO as part of the analysis and design phase. The BA would then form part of the migration team to ensure a consistent approach to the requirements being delivered.

Required to

• A Financial business analyst/Systems Accountant to surface and record financial activities carried out in Great plains
• The BA will also be required to Surface and record information that is managed upstream that will impact data that is worked into GP for consideration of the build programme into D365.
• These recorded tasks will form the basis of the requirements to Travel operations implementation from a D365 perspective
• Skills required
• Financial Process and Systems business Analyst
• Experience with MS Great Plains and D365 in order to:
• Surface and record existing process and tasks associated with:
• General Ledger Activities
• Sales Ledger Activities
• Purchase Ledger activities
• That will form the basis of design and migration activity as part of a financial system migration from GP to D365
• The successful candidate will be required to surface and record financial ledger activity in order to create a Business Requirements Document (BRD) that will be instrumental in the success of a analysis, design and implementation phase
• The Successful candidate will also be required to ensure that the design phase accommodates all of the financial process recorded in the discovery phase and is implemented/replaced in the new financial system which is intended to be D365
• The successful candidate will also be expected to surface and map process/activities associated to internal systems closely connected to the existing Financial System
• The successful candidate will be expected to work in collaboration with a Technical Business Analyst who will also in parallel be surfacing and mapping system related tasks associated to data required to populate the great plains financial system and it’s replacement
• The successful candidate will be expected to work in collaboration with a Technical Business Analyst who will also in parallel be surfacing and mapping system related tasks associated to internal systems associated to the financial systems
• The successful candidate will be required to ensure that the requirements, touch-points, and process are migrated to the replacement system as part of a migration phase

Must have skill sets

• D365 Finance & Operations system and process experience
• Accountancy Background
• Financial Business Analyst
• Facilitate Discovery Wksp’s
• Be able to surface, record and convey financial business workflow processes to be interpreted by 3rd party and internal parties
• Be able to surface, record and convey system work-flow process and architecture to be interpreted by 3rd party and internal parties
• Embed into financial teams in order to surface information that would populate process maps
• Identify and record points of data for interpretation and migration purposes
