Trant Looking for Senior Quantity Surveyor at Havant, Hampshire Full Time

We have an immediate requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the business, working on Southern Water projects, comprising mechanical, electrical, civil & process engineering. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all of the commercial function for the project and applicants should be fully conversant with NEC3.

This position reports to the Commercial Manager for the Process & Water team and duties include but are not limited to;

• Valuations
• Change Control / Compensation Events
• Subcontractor Procurement
• CVR’s
• Early Warnings
• Updating Risk Register
• Monthly Commercial Reporting
• Cash Flow Forecasts
• Subcontractor Payments
• Dispute Resolution
• Final accounts

 Desired Skills / Background

• HNC/HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or by experience (Essential)
• Working knowledge of NEC Suite of Contracts (Essential)
• A background of working within the water (Preferred)

It is essential that you must have a background in working on a variety on engineering contracts and you will have strong negotiation and communication skills.
