PROJECT MANAGER – Burham (Kent)
Trant Engineering are recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee clean water & wastewater projects to be based in the Kent region working on our Southern Water framework.
Trant is a successful Civil Engineering EPC delivering complex turnkey engineering projects in sectors such as Process & Water, Energy, Defence, Oil & Gas and Nuclear.
We have over 800 employees and with a healthy forward order book with a projected turnover of £180m this year, it is an exciting time to join the business.
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee clean water & wastewater projects based in and around the Kent region.. The Project Manager will have a background in either Mechanical, Electrical or Civil engineering but should have an understanding of all disciplines and must have a background in delivering water or wastewater projects. This role involves regular visits to the sites under your control. It may be that you are currently working as a Project Manager or perhaps you are a Senior Site Manager seeking to take the next step in your career. Either way, you will have an excellent technical ability in this sector and be a strong manager of people, possessing the ability to get the most out of your team.
Reporting into the Contracts Manager, duties include but are not limited to;
·Overseeing 2/3 projects at any one time
·Ensuring project delivery within program & budget
·Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities
·Client interface
·Management of subcontractors
·Progress reporting
Qualifications
·HND/BEng in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering OR by experience
·CSCS
·SMSTS
