Onsite Liaison

s to the Operations Support Manager

$17.00/hr.

Please Note: This position is located on-site at Beaufort Memorial Hospital Business Office

Essential Responsibilities:

Liaison between the client and Convergent Operations Support Department
Answer incoming calls, emails and faxes from Convergent Team
Review and process all correspondence related to accounts assigned to Convergent. Including but not limited to, charity applications, change of address, disputes.
Account research for Convergent Team
Verify payments via phone calls, fax or emailed request
Research requests for coding issues and forward to the coders if correction is needed
Research copies of cancelled checks to correct posting errors
Research misapplied payments
Print itemized statement (detailed bill) and mail
Notate accounts when information is received or requested from Convergent and or the client
Cash and/or credit transfers
Process insurance that needs billed or rebilled
Maintain spreadsheet of work done for the week and forward to the Operations Support Manager
