We support the entire customer lifecycle that includes customer acquisition, full loan servicing, delinquency management, and collections.

Position Summary

The Treasury Operations department is looking for a Client Accountant who will be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting and remittance of collection activities to clients. He or she will also be responsible for the reconciliation of the associated custodial accounts and collection activities as well as preparing manual reports for management and other projects as requested.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Create and/or deliver daily, weekly, semi-monthly and monthly reporting packages to clients and manage the associated remittance of funds.
• Balance and reconcile client remittances as well as verify funds availability for remittance.
• Prepare and enter journal entries, as required, for posting to the general ledger for the associated collection and remittance activity.
• Complete reconciliation of custodial bank or collection activity and associated general ledger accounts to underlying source system(s) and clear reconciling items timely.
• Assist in pulling of audit support for financial statement, regulatory, and client audits.
• Support management with identifying and analyzing process deficiencies, the implementation of process enhancements and/or new controls, and the creation of associated process and policy documents.
• Establish relationships with internal and external customers to resolve client accounting remittance, statement/reporting, and receivable related matters.
• Work closely with the appropriate TSI client contacts and/or external client contacts to understand and resolve any other issues or concerns that are impacting remittance and collections. Address escalated issues and provide solutions for resolution in a timely manner.
• Ad hoc analysis and other projects as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field.
• At least one year of accounting experience or accounting internship experience preferred
• Excellent problem solving, mathematical, analytical and sound judgement skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including the ability to speak and present information in an effective, clear and concise manner.
• Strong personal computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups).
• SAP experience preferred.

Compensation salary range $45,000-$55,00 yearly
