The Finance Team Coordinator will provide executive support services to the General Manager – Finance while balancing the needs of colleagues within their team. This will include the coordination of day-to-day activities to ensure the smooth and efficient management of a finance department which operates within a vibrant, fast-paced corporate environment.

The impact you’ll have:

  • Providing administrative support, you’ll manage diaries, schedule meetings, screen calls, coordinate travel arrangements and attend to archiving and filing
  • You’ll prepare documentation to the highest of standards
  • You’ll provide assistance and support with procurement and accounting functions, using Transurban’s procurement and payment portal to create purchase orders and process invoices
  • You’ll assist with ongoing projects and draw on your coordination and administration experience to look for ways to improve and streamline how we do things

  • You’ll have superb communication skills both face to face and over the phone
  • You’ll have proven experience working as an admin/personal assistant or office manager/receptionist
  • You’ll have an eye for detail
  • You are eager to learn and develop new skills
  • You’ll have excellent time management skills with an ability to work to a defined schedule while being decisive in prioritising the things that count to deliver quality output
  • You’ll have the ability to maintain high standards of work with your close attention to detail and need for accuracy
  • You’ll be a team player with strong initiative, a customer focus and fabulous interpersonal skills; able to communicate and liaise with people at all levels
  • You’ll be tech savvy with MS Office applications and have a flair for reports and presentations
