Role responsibilities
We are currently recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Shared Services HR team as a Recruitment & Talent Advisor.

The business is undergoing a truly transformational period with a variety of exciting projects taking place across our functions. With a brand-new depot being built and new Train service timetables being introduced, our current team of Recruitment & Talent Advisors are recruiting for high-volume, resource numbers across the functions to help deliver our vision and goals.

As a Recruitment & Talent Advisor, you will join the team in a pivotal role that will contribute to delivering end-to-end recruitment campaigns to meet our resourcing plans, with a specific focus on train driver recruitment and operational roles across the Driver function. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Manage the delivery of timely, fair and effective recruitment campaigns

• Arrange and deliver assessment centres for Traincrew, which complies to national industry standards

• Coach, advise and guide managers on recruitment best practice

• Arrange and support on interview panels

• Manage the onboarding process for all successful candidates

• Contribute to the delivery of ad-hoc projects as required across the team including careers fairs and scoping continuous improvement of our resourcing solutions

Recruitment campaigns are delivered for our teams across Wales and the borders so travel may be required to deliver assessment centres across the business’ locations.

The successful candidate

Essential requirements to be considered for this role:

• Motivated and experienced HR professional with significant recruitment experience, ideally with experience of planning and delivering assessment centres

• It is highly desirable for candidates to have a Level A & B qualification in Occupational Testing, or must be willing to work towards achieving

• Excellent communicator, and highly effective at building strong relationships with stakeholders

• Highly organised and resilient with an ability to adapt to varying workloads

• Knowledge of candidate attraction and delivering effective recruitment campaigns

• Experience of using applicant tracking systems

Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would be advantageous to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
