Transport for greater Manchester Hiring for HR Business Partner at Greater Manchester Full Time

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) are seeking a HR Partner to join our People Team. In this role you will have the opportunity to work in partnership with managers positively contributing to initiatives helping to shape and deliver the people plan to continue to build our people capability.

As a HR Partner you will:

• Report directly to the Head of HR Delivery and will take a lead role on high profile projects and programmes of work including TUPE projects helping to shape new areas of delivery for TfGM in conjunction with senior stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders; coaching, influencing and contributing HR expertise as a key partner to support the development and delivery of functional plans and outcomes
• You will also play an important role in developing and delivering a wide range of people activities and improvement projects to support the delivery of our People Strategy
• You will support the upskilling of managers across the organisation on a wide range of Employee Relations matters including building and maintaining relationships with local and regional Trade Union officials

What you’ll bring:

• Experience of leading projects in a complex, unionised environment and will have experience of managing complex and sensitive ER issues including some experience of TUPE.
• You will have experience of building strong stakeholder relationships and be able to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders including Regional Trade Union representatives
• Excellent communication, influencing, facilitation and presentation skills to actively communicate with all levels and will be used to working dynamically, managing multiple priorities at different levels.
• You will have previous experience working within a HR Partner role and ideally be CIPD qualified (or have equivalent levels of experience)

This is a permanent position with a salary of £42,399 – £47,772 per annum. Salary will be depending on skills and experience.
