POSITION SUMMARY

ing to the Operations Supervisor, the Truck Offload Operator is responsible for safely performing all duties/tasks related to offloading tanker trucks. This position will also assist with Terminal Operations.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Ensure the safe operation of the facility; maintain awareness for personal and co-workers safety, and ensure knowledge and compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Offload products from tanker trucks.
• Obtain and perform testing on product samples taken from tanker trucks.
• Perform tank/receipt reconciliations, gauging of storage tanks, temperature readouts and product sample collection.
• Perform all daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual maintenance and compliance inspections, and maintain required logs as appropriate.
• Ensure that all equipment, including safety devices and systems are functioning properly, and any and all equipment failures to supervisor.
• Perform housekeeping functions at station including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, pulling weeds and other clean-up activities as directed.
• Conduct preventive and routine maintenance on various operating equipment, including, but not limited to, pumps, valves, meters, compressors, motors, tanks, pipes, terminal building, and various other equipment.
• Basic testing of oils, such as viscosity, A.P.I., sulfur, and flash as directed.
• Take product samples as required, perform required Quality Control tests and maintain Product Quality Log.
• Participate in emergency situations as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
