Dietary Aide Responsibility Highlights include:

• Prepare and serve food and alternates using standardized recipes for regular and therapeutic diets in proper quantities according to planned menu, temperature, production schedule, and diet preference.

• Prepares, stores, and disposes of food using proper food handling, labeling, temperature control and safety techniques according to facility and regulatory guidelines.

• Ensures that food is served in an attractive, appetizing manner.

• Responsible for the opening and/or closing of kitchen.

• Maintain proper temperature food of during preparation and service and records food temperatures according to facility and regulatory standards.

Dietary Aide Minimum Qualifications:

Experience as a Dietary Aide in an Assisted Living, Nursing Facility, or preparation of foods in high quantities preferred.
