Responsibilities:
What’s the job?
- Assist HR Manager in their duties
- Establish partnerships with local post-secondary institutions for employee training
- In collaboration with the HR Manager and General Manager, develop a road map for employees on training and skills to develop for promotion within the organization
- Administer aspiring managers program
Qualifications:
Education, Licensing, and Certifications:
Education:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or related field. (Experience in lieu of educational requirement will be considered)
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft® software applications, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work within a team structure, collaborating closely with colleagues and operating interdependently to achieve assigned tasks.
- Exceptional communication skills – both written ad oral
- Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of accuracy, and attention to detail and organization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Experience with transportation industry is a plus.
