Role Outline
A Test Engineer working as part of a team supporting an exciting and fast-growing company that is leading the market in its sector.
Working in a challenging, regulated, high-quality industry, delivering our product to external customers.
Hybrid working in operation (a blend of home and office).
Main Responsibilities
· Analysis of Requirements and Design Documentation.
· Creation and execution of Test Cases.
· Working closely with Business Analysts, Product and Development to determine Test Data and Test Paths.
· Defect management.
· Working with the Support Team to hand over known issues and workarounds.
· Creating Test Reports.
· Working as part of an Agile team, fully participating in Scrums and demonstrations.
· To develop a good understanding of Trakcel products, the industry and client processes.
Skills and Experience – Essential
· Minimum one years’ experience as a software tester.
· Experience creating and executing test cases.
· Hold or working towards a recognised software QA/Test qualification – e.g. BCS ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester.
· Requirements, Test Management and Bug Tracking systems.
· Working in an Agile environment, creating test cases from User Stories using ATDD, BDD and Gherkin
· Working with modern web-based applications.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skills and Experience – Desirable
· Experience the high-quality test execution and deliverables needed in a regulated industry.
· Experience in a customer-facing role.
· Experience using Requirements and Test management tools (e.g. codeBeamer).
· Experience in creating Test Plans and Scheduling Test Phases.
· Experience in testing mobile applications.
· Experience in testing Salesforce-based applications
