TrailersPlus Hiring for General Ledger Accountant Job at Nampa, ID Full Time

Interstate Group/TrailersPlus is the largest network of trailer dealerships in the
country, with over 75 stores and 4 manufacturing plants in 32 states, and we
have been in business since 1995. We are a well-established organization and
are looking for a General Ledger Accountant/Financial Analyst to help maintain

Duties and responsibilities of this position include:

• Analyze financial statements and company performance by location and

product type

• Design and maintain reports to identify business trends
• Develop processes to streamline accounting workflows and improve the

accuracy of financial data

• Maintain annual budgeting spreadsheets and regularly track performance

variances

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and research errors and issues
• Prepare month-end journal entries
• Maintain bank account reconciliations and perform daily cash

management activities

• Develop and utilize Google documents and shared spreadsheets
• Interface with employees at our numerous stores, plants, and corporate

office to solve accounting issues as they arise

• Prepare sales and use tax returns for multiple locations

Qualifications:
4-year accounting degree
Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
Experience performing general ledger accounting duties
Strong computer skills, knowledge of Google, Excel and Mac applications
Experience with NetSuite software strongly preferred
Willingness to take on added responsibilities as company needs arise
Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
