Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
As an Experienced Traffic Control Flagger – Crew Leader Candidate, you will:
- Set up and maintain safe, compliant work zones
- Control traffic flow and ensure public safety
- Support crew leaders with setup, client communication, and field reporting
- Mentor new crew members and help drive site efficiency
This is an essential role that directly contributes to public safety and infrastructure development.
Qualifications
What You Need to Succeed:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle required
- Employees must be able to drive themselves to and from job sites (ride-sharing or drop-offs not permitted).
- Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle driving requirements
- Verified through a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
- Approved Traffic Control Flagging Certification (ATSSA, State Certificate, etc.)
- Availability Monday-Friday (as early as 6AM – late afternoon)
- Physical endurance – Ability to stand for 8-12 hours, walk 1-2 miles per day, lift up to 30-50lbs, and work outdoors in various conditions
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability
- Obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6″ in height.
- Approved two-way radios
What We Offer
- Weekly Competitive Pay: $17.50-19.30/hr based on experience
- $17.00-$19.05 per hour based upon experience and completion of required development training
