Salary: Pay to Scale – £153.85 to £211.06 per day

Tradewind Recruitment is collaborating with a secondary school in North Lincolnshire to find a dedicated and skilled Engineering Teacher for a part-time role. This position offers a unique opportunity to teach Key Stage 4 Engineering, providing students with a practical and engaging alternative to GCSE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Key Stage 4 Engineering on a 3-day per week basis.
• Implement the Level 1/2 Award in Engineering curriculum, fostering a ‘plan, do, review’ approach to learning.
• Introduce students to various strands within the field of engineering, developing their knowledge, skills, and understanding.
• Plan and deliver lessons that incorporate realistic work-related contexts.
• Assess and review student outcomes, providing constructive feedback.
• Fulfill responsibilities related to planning and marking in line with school policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Specialisation or experience in teaching Engineering at Key Stage 4.
• Passion for providing a practical and engaging learning experience for students.
• Ability to implement a ‘plan, do, review’ approach to learning.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
