Have you had experience working with children in the Early Years? Have you worked in a kitchen or catering environment? Then we have the role for you! We are seeking a Catering Assistant to support with the daily running of a Private Day Nursery in the Cosford area.

About the School:

We are working with a Private Nursery in Wolverhampton, around the Cosford area. They were rated “GOOD” on their last OFSTED . The staff in the nursery are welcoming and act as positive role models to the children. This Nursery is ambitious and they are enthusiastic about the care that they offer the children.

About the Role:

This role consists of working in collaboration with the other catering staff to allow meal times to run smoothly. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking nutritional meals for the children at the Nursery
• Serving food in an efficient and friendly manner
• Undertaking washing up and cleaning duties
• Setting up the dining area and packing it away
• Dealing with any kitchen related incidents like spillages

*The ideal candidate will have a food safety qualification or equivalent*

This role is a full time role from 8:00 – 4:00pm, working Monday – Friday.
