Trade and Investment Queensland Hiring for Finance Officer Job at Brisbane Full Time

• Assist in TIQ’s (global) end of month and year end financial processes, including preparing monthly accruals and reconciliations of the general ledger, generating recurring and prepayment documents and preparing monthly reports ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, applicable legislation and standards is achieved
• Monitor and maintain TIQ’s (global) monthly cashbook and corporate card reconciliation processes, including reviewing and analysing expenditure and investigating potential errors
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining TIQ’s corporate card program including Commbank card manager administration, tailored corporate card training for domestic executives and senior executive international delegates. In addition to assisting with the administrator responsibilities for TIQ’s Corporate Travel Management (CTM) booking system
• Undertake and maintain TIQ’s vendor master data change/creation processes, including domestic and international payment processes
• Prepare and maintain various registers and reporting activities to ensure TIQ remains compliant with relevant legislation, required accounting Standards
• Assist with the development of TIQ’s financial policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements is achieved
• Provide necessary training and support to TIQ’s internal domestic and international networks and external stakeholders
• Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders within Australia and the overseas offices to effectively communicate strategies, procedures and to achieve successful outcomes for new initiatives and business improvement activities
