TrackDDB Hiring for QA Analyst at Toronto, ON Full Time

We are looking for an awesome QA Analyst to join our team to work with the business and technical teams on complex marketing related projects.

Responsibilities:
Thoroughly review and validate requirements and technical specifications

Develop and execute test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization

Delegate analysis and decomposition of business requirements, product requirements, and systems design to develop test scenarios, test conditions, test data and other testing

Document results; offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality

Collaborate with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing)

Communicate professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization

Support, design, develop, and enhance test processes and reporting for QA processes

Manage testing efforts across many varied projects and tasks under tight deadlines

Make recommendations to improve product reliability, performance, and quality assurance best practices and processes

Work with QA team to deliver thoroughly tested campaigns and data using manual and automated approach with clearly documented identified bugs, issues and needed improvements; propose solutions where necessary

Engage QA team members for feedback on testing strategies, new test designs, and test plan reviews

Qualifications:
At least 3+ years of quality assurance experience in Agile Development environments

Expert understanding of QA methodology, best practices, and tools

Minimum 3+ years experience with automated testing tools or equivalent automation skills

Experience with web-based application including API testing

Experience with email campaign testing

Experience with complex data testing – implement and execute queries for data validation in relational database environment such as SQL Server

Experience with integration testing between applications

Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, draws valid conclusions, and provides solutions

Identifies, communicates, and escalates issues as required

Working knowledge of JIRA and Basecamp

A team player and self-starter who will work side by side with the development team

Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Thorough working knowledge of software testing methodologies and the testing life cycle

Understanding of Application Integration

Ability to work independently with clients, proactive, and self-managed

Solicitation and elicitation of client needs and requirements

Project Management and Software Development Methodologies

Familiarity with programming languages and SQL to allow for defect triaging and automation

Familiarity with scripting languages used in test automation

Scalability and performance testing

Creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness

Strong attention to detail

A Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience

Desire to learn new technologies
