Trace Hiring for Finance Director Job at London, England Full Time

No 1 finance role for a growing business with backing from the parent company. With significant plans to grow across Europe, Middle East, and North America over the next 3 years. Reporting into the CEO, and with a dotted line into the Group Commercial Director the initial challenges will are:

• Create a commercial infrastructure to increase margin and profitability, in what is predominantly a project-based model
• Recruit and nurture a team which can develop as the business grows
• Champion the growth strategy at Board level to ensure investment and resources when required

Day to day tasks will vary but across:

• Financial Operations and Reporting
• Commercial support
• Group Engagement
• Team/people leadership

We are searching for a Qualified finance professional (ACA/CIMA preferred) who has a broad skills set first. You will have a good grounding in core accounting, along with recent experience of commercial / strategic finance in a marketing services business. Ideally you will have fulfilled roles in both bigger corporate environments as well as SMEs. In person, to work culturally, we want a person with a good nature, who can spar with the SLT in a challenging but sensitive manner. This is a fantastic role for an individual who is developing into a FD/CFO and wants to take that next step in their career.
