Utilizing best-in-class resources and technology, you will roll up your sleeves and work in collaboration with the entire team, particularly the firm’s Founder. As a key part of the team, you will help tackle complex financial, estate, tax, and insurance planning situations and deliver an experience to clients that is second to none.
In your role as a Service Advisor, you can expect to:
o Work alongside the firm’s Founder to adopt the firm’s philosophies, strategies, values, and standards for your own clients, as well as existing clients that are assigned to you and incoming referrals
o Collaborate with the team to master the processes and systems that underlie the firm’s value proposition
o Ensure a consistent experience for all clients of the firm through:
o Producing client deliverables in a timely, accurate, and informative manner
o Continuously maintaining relationships with clients and understanding their unique circumstances, connections, talents, interests, etc.
o Responding to client service needs throughout the year
o Stay current on trends within the financial planning and investment arena
o Serve in support of the Investment Operations team with tasks ranging from money movement (contributions, withdrawals, journals, etc.) to tax loss harvesting.
o Other tasks as needed for the team to excel and function optimally.
Qualifications for this opportunity include:
o Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in finance, economics, or investments preferred
o Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) required
o Life and health insurance licenses required
o Advanced degree or designation (CFP®, MBA, or AIF) highly desirable
o Minimum of three years of experience as an Advisor required
o Minimum of $15MM AUM over no more than 50 households
o Willingness to join Commonwealth Financial Network as your broker/dealer
o Strong computer desktop skills: Office365, EMoney or RightCapital; willingness to use SmartOffice CRM
o Demonstrated job stability and commitment to career progression
Compensation: $75-125K based on experience
Location: Onsite in Glastonbury, CT office
