Role Purpose & Environment

The Finance Officer will be responsible for optimizing our fibre financial management procedures. You will be contributing to financial long-range planning (LRP), preparing financial reports, and implementing best practices in financial systems as part of the fibre group’s PMO team.

Responsibilities:

• Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting relevant financial data.
• Evaluating and optimizing financial controls and procedures.
• Assisting with financial planning for the fibre group.
• Liase with vendors and internal key stakeholders to plan and deliver project financial requirements within agreed deliverables.
• Updating daily transaction records and assisting with budgeting and payments.
• Monitoring records of invoices and payments, as well as reviewing and processing Purchase Orders.
• Identifying financial liabilities and performing risk analysis on CAPEX and OPEX cash flow.
• Resolving budget discrepancies and performing project budget reconciliations.
• Preparing financial reports, including projected returns and flagging overbudget.
• Handle adhoc PMO team tasks as required.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field.
• Prior experience in financial governance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Willingness to learn quickly and be adaptable to a changing environment.
• Knowledge of PowerBI and Oracle ERP is advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Superb organizational and time management abilities.
• Great collaboration and communication skills, written and verbal.
