Toy Factory, LLC Hiring for Maintenance Technician Assistant Full Time

Summary:

Maintain the day-to-day operations and to assume responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.

· Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors/vendors.

· Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.

· Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Manager which may include picking up trash, maintaining landscaping beds and other areas.

· Responsible for alerting the Maintenance Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damages that have taken place or that may occur.

· Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.

· Ensure compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.

· Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Manual.

· Special projects and other Plant responsibilities as may be determined.

· Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.

· Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

· Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

· Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.

· Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry function.

· Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.

MANDATORY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Ø Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ø Problem Solver

Ø Proven experience as maintenance technician.

Ø Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)

Ø Knowledge of health & Safety practices and regulations.

Ø An eye for detail.

Ø High school diploma; Degree from a vocational school will be a plus.

Ø Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) are preferred.

Ø There will be some overtime to include weekends

CREDENTIALS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent, college or technical college a plus

Four or more years of experience in a Maintenance Role

Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request

Pass a pre-employment criminal background check

Pass a pre-employment drug screening

Physical Demands:

Ø Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb ladders and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
