Job Title: Town Planner
Location: Preston
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing planning consultancy in their search for a Town Planner.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected multidisciplinary team delivering a broad range of planning projects across sectors including healthcare, heritage, retail, manufacturing, leisure, and public sector developments. The company has built a strong reputation nationally for securing successful planning outcomes and providing commercially focused advice to a diverse client base.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to a varied workload including planning applications, appeals, change of use projects, strategic planning work, and client-facing consultancy responsibilities. The role offers excellent mentoring and long-term progression within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Requirements
* Degree in Town Planning or related discipline
* Minimum 1 year of planning experience within the private or public sector
* Strong report writing and communication skills
* Knowledge of the UK planning system
* MRTPI or working towards chartership desirable
