The Town of Vail is seeking a Maintenance Worker II to join the public works department. This position is responsible for collecting & maintaining trash receptacles, winter snow removal, park cleanliness, upkeep of facilities, and street maintenance operations. While the duties will vary depending on the season, providing guest service throughout the Town of Vail is always a priority.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Clean, repair, and maintain streets, bridges, walkways, stairs, parking lots, culverts, catch basins, ditches, rec. paths and shop facility. Keep all pedestrian areas, stairs, sidewalks, walk paths, bridges, and bus stops clear of snow and ice. Keep the villages clean by continuing checking them and hand sweeping daily, changing trash containers, and walking the villages, frontage roads, and interstate picking up trash.
