Towering Your Success, LLC is looking for a passionate Education Research and Statistics Analyst to support our clients in K-12 education.

Responsibilities

• Data cleaning of large student-level district and statewide datasets using either Excel or SPSS
• Large data manipulation such as sorting, merging, aggregating, splitting, and restructuring
• Analyzing student growth and teacher/leader effectiveness measure data, producing comprehensive statistical reports, and proposing possible actions at the state level as well as the district level using SPSS and Excel, e.g. descriptive statistics, correlation, regression, exploratory factor analysis, ANOVA, and reliability analysis, etc
• Structural equation modeling using LISREL to validate the standards used to measure the teacher/leader effectiveness
• Producing deliverable reports and “How To” instructions using advanced and complicated Excel formulas and functions such as vlookup, index, etc

Skills

• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

• Proven experience using software to analyze datasets (MS Excel or other data analysis software)

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings and knowledge of student related data and data systems (infinite campus, powerschool, etc)
• B.S. in Statistics or related field required, with 5 years of experience; Master’s degree or higher in Educational Statistics and Research Methods or related field preferred, with 3 years of experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
