The Early Education and Childcare Service within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets council are looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Early Education and Childcare Sector Coordinator with extensive experience in early years.

We are looking for a creative and dynamic person to take charge of our workforce training development programme, administration and marketing campaigns.

Our service supports a wide range of settings to provide high quality, flexible and accessible early education and childcare offer through advice, supportive challenge and sharing information, ensuring all children get the best start in life. The first 1001 days are crucial in a child’s development and wellbeing. Research shows us that children who access good quality early education and childcare receive the best start in life. Therefore, we also work on making sure we have sufficient childcare places in the borough so that children do not miss out on this important opportunity for their learning and development. We are tasked by the Department for Education to passport the funded entitlements to the eligible providers and make sure the payments are accurate and paid on time.

This is a new role with the scope to shape and develop, so we are looking for someone who is creative, organised and can bring people together in order that we can create a marketing and social media campaign helping families to connect with the Early Education and Childcare offers and support that is available in their area. We require someone with knowledge of early years and able to work with our providers and partners to develop and coordinate our training programme.
