We are currently recruiting for a Tour Guide (8 hours per week over 2 days)
Job Summary
As an Emma Bridgewater Tour Guide, you will act as an ambassador for our beautiful handmade pottery. You will take visitors on a behind the scenes tour of our Victorian factory in the heart of Stoke on Trent. You will guide the customer through each stage of the production process and explain each one of tradition pottery production methods we still use today.
Key duties and responsibilities:
· Warmly meeting and greeting our customers to our factory and shops
· Engage with the customer in an informative and personable way on the history of the factory and each production process.
· Provide excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Manage and lead groups of people in a working factory environment.
· Adhere to all health and safety measures in place.
· Previous Tour Guide Experience would be advantageous.
Other duties and responsibilities:
· Displaying behaviour consistent with the personality of the business
· Conducting any other reasonable tasks as required by the business
· Undertaking training and development relevant to the role
· Working in a safe manner taking care for your own health and safety
· Ensuring your work environment is safe, clean and tidy
